3km before the main city, Oyo Pithla Haveli on the outskirts of Jaiselmer is a budget hotel with a touch of Royal Rajasthan. The best part is that it is neither too close to the crowded city nor too far from it. On the exteriors, the intricate carvings and yellow sandstone décor looks as amazing as the comfortable interiors. The books on display, the Rajasthani puppets, little souvenirs, wall hangings and seating arrangement speak of fine local craftsmanship. The deluxe room that I stayed in was quite spacious, well maintained, nicely decorated and with a great view of outside. The Rajasthani paintings and embroidered wall hanging added colors to the room. Jharokha was my favourite place in the room, where you can soak in the sunshine while reading a book or sip coffee while chatting with your loved ones. The cute little balcony, I don’t know why, made me feel so good Indeed a lively and beautiful room. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Food is superb.

the hotel was easily accessible and looked good on the first view. The D day then came when we entered the room stinking and cramped. availability of food in dinner was less even after being a buffet. Had to wait for approximately for 2 hours to get the dinner even after informing them while on the way. Hotel lags facilities like even a small medical to handle cuts of bruises.

This is just a small basic property just outside the city in the middle of an not so good residential area,rooms are small in size and passages between the room galleries are even smaller,they have their kitchen on the terrace and a basic seating adjacent to it,they call it their restaurant. Easy to Reach but don't expect any kind of luxury.

Havnt seen a Worst Hotel than this in all of my Travel Experience so far. Rooms of this hotel actually stink and are very small with average beds, poor washrooms.. Staff at this place is rude, lethargic and not at all helpful. They serve food at the Roof top dining area that they have and you receive food 45 minutes after you have ordered even a small order like French Fries. Food is not even worth the wait, not at all tasty. Its a poorly maintained Hotel.
